Snow cover for BlueChimney BC 310-150 and BC 310-200-80
The snow hat is fitted to the top of the BlueChimney chimney fan and is used in combination with square flanges for the BC 265-150 and BC 310-150 to prevent rainwater from entering the chimney.
Given the amount of rainfall we typically experience, rainwater entering a masonry chimney is generally not an issue, as these chimneys usually have a rainwater collection system at the bottom.
The rain cover provides a horizontal smoke outlet.

How to install the snow cover:
- Loosen the 2 screws (on model 265) or 3 screws (on model 310) located underneath the top ring by approximately 2 mm, allowing the top ring to move freely.
- Lift the top ring slightly to create a gap between the top ring and the motor unit.
- Carefully insert the legs of the rain/snow cover through the safety grille at the top of the top ring.
- Carefully turn the rain/snow cover clockwise, sliding it underneath the top ring.
- Push the rain/snow cover fully underneath the top ring until it clicks into place. Press the top ring firmly down while tightening the screws.
